I have enjoyed a successful career in the advertising, sales and marketing industry spanning over 40 years. Leveraged experience in all facets of advertising and marketing to eventually owning and managing an advertising agency in the SF bay area market with such clients as Chevron, National Semiconductor, Wells Fargo Bank and other fortune 500 clients.

Some of my company’s achievements were the creation of DVD programs to attract clients to Grand Openings that far surpassed conventional advertising methods 5-1. We took that concept across the US starting with Chevron and Bank of America.  We also added a Production facility in the Salt Lake City market to bring in house our TV and video production that most agencies farmed out. Our agency was awarded 17 ADDYs and 1 National ADDY award for your national ad for Sears Hardware.

After years on the road and running my agency I was ready for retirement. After playing lots of golf I was ready to get back into the game when Richard Scott asked me to work with him on a new Medical franchise brand, the new model featured billing systems and codes for physicians to expand patient care and greatly increase their practice revenues.  The brand would sell exclusive territories and award franchise licenses nationally. I jumped at the prospect of working with medical professionals because in my advertising life I had worked with Resound hearing healthcare, Tyco Healthcare, Puritan Bennett, and ArthroCare. I understood the space and was ready to respond. We substantially grew the business over the next couple years, starting from 1 franchise territory to over 90 territories awarded nationally in a four-year period.

We then grew another national medical franchise brand, a brick-and-mortar model.  The company started selling franchises in 2019 and successfully expanded its footprint to over 75 units and master territories.  The successful expansion resulted in an acquisition in November 2023.

Having spearheaded sales and marketing successfully in the health and wellness franchise sector, I am poised to help lead a national and global sales team for Blue Sage Franchising, LLC
